Specialist Marketplace
The Specialist Marketplace is where athletes and parents discover the coaches, advisors, and experts they want to work with on PointShot. Every specialist on PointShot is a verified business — you can read more about how that works in the Specialist Profiles article.
Finding a specialist
Section titled “Finding a specialist”Open Marketplace in the top navigation to land on the specialist results page. You’ll see a paginated grid of every active, publicly-visible Specialist profile on PointShot, with a search bar at the top of the page for finding someone by name.
Every card on the page surfaces the information you need to decide whether to click through:
Name and headline
Each card leads with the specialist’s name and headline — a short, self-authored tagline
that summarizes what they do (e.g. “Former pro defenseman turned video coach”). Click the card to
open the full profile.
Organization
If the specialist is affiliated with an organization — a club, academy, or training program
— it appears beneath their name. Useful when you’re looking for someone connected to a
specific program.
Location
Specialists self-report their primary location. This matters most for on-ice coaches, evaluators,
and anyone offering in-person services; for video-based and remote services, location is more of a
context signal than a constraint.
Tier badge
Every specialist is assigned a tier — Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze — shown as a
badge on their card and on their profile. Tiers reflect experience, credentials, and track record
on the platform. See Tiers at a glance below.
Specialties
Section titled “Specialties”Specialists on PointShot work across a wide range of disciplines. Knowing what kind of help you’re looking for is usually the first step in finding the right person.
Positional Coaches
Get position-specific support and feedback to make you the best at your role.
On-Ice Coaches
Book on-ice sessions or register for camps with coaches in your local area.
Evaluators
Find someone to evaluate your game or assist your team with tryouts and ID skates.
Advisors & Mentors
Gain insight into your next steps and build an action plan with expert guidance.

Speak to mental performance experts who can help you achieve your best.

Tiers at a glance
Section titled “Tiers at a glance”Tiers are PointShot’s quality signal — a quick way to gauge a specialist’s experience and standing on the platform without reading every credential on their profile. The tier badge appears on every marketplace card and at the top of every specialist’s public profile.
Platinum
Top-tier coaches with pro experience at the highest levels. Availability may be limited.
Gold
High-level coaches with expertise that’s hard to match and a great rating within our marketplace.
Silver
Specialists with quality experience who have proven themselves in our marketplace.
Bronze
Vetted specialists who are new to the PointShot platform, offering quality, accessible coaching.
Tiers are assigned by PointShot during verification and can move up or down over time based on customer ratings, transaction history, and ongoing credential standing. For the full breakdown of how tiers are assigned and maintained, see Specialist Tiers.

Today’s marketplace surfaces every active specialist in a single browsable grid with name-based
search. We’re working on richer filtering so you can narrow results by specialty, tier, location,
headline, organization, and more — with the ability to combine filters and sort results.

Can’t find who you need?
Section titled “Can’t find who you need?”If you’re looking for a specialist who isn’t on PointShot yet, scroll to the bottom of the marketplace and use the Refer a specialist button. You’ll be prompted for their email and an optional message; PointShot sends an invitation on your behalf. Once they create their account and complete verification, they’ll appear in the marketplace alongside everyone else.
