Setting Up Your Profile

PointShot profiles are your public presence online — a place to showcase your hockey development path or your professional coaching business. Every profile starts with the same shared setup (photo, bio, social links), then branches into type-specific fields.

To learn more about the different types of profiles, see:

You can also learn about the Public Profile page, which is what visitors see when they reach your profile.

Make sure you’ve created an account and entered your basic profile information first. See Creating an Account if you haven’t already.

Once your account exists, open Edit Profile from the Dashboard drop-down in the top navigation. You can also reach Edit Profile through your public profile header.

On the Edit Profile page, click the square PointShot logo in the left sidebar menu to upload a profile photo. Once uploaded, it will replace the logo.

You can upload any image up to 2 MB. Before completing the upload, you’ll see a pop-up where you can crop the image. Click Save and your photo appears on your profile immediately.

Coming Soon!

We’re working on custom banner images as well. Soon you’ll be able to change the photo above your profile header just like on many other social platforms. Stay tuned for future updates.

All profiles include a short bio where you can share who you are, what makes you unique, and what you hope to achieve on PointShot. You can also add a short video, which appears next to your bio in the About card on your Public Profile — another way to visually showcase your skills and experience.

Every profile can link out to social media. Links appear on the right side of your public profile header. Supported platforms include:

  • Instagram
  • X/Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Elite Prospects

Specialists can also add an external website if they have one, for example a personal blog or a bio page on a team’s site.

Profile fields differ by profile type. Pick the guide that matches yours to continue:
